Capmark employees play a vital role in their company's efforts to make positive contributions to the communities in which they live and work. This year Capmark launched the Volunteer of the Year Awards program to recognize the outstanding volunteer efforts of their employees.
The first Capmark Volunteer of the Year Award recipients were chosen for the depth and breadth of their service, their impact on the nonprofit organization and target group served, and their ability to motivate others into service. In their honor, a $,5000 grant will be provided to the organization they dedicate their time and talents to.
Pam has been a member of the Aldersgate board since 2001 and has served as first vice president, second vice-president and funraising and public relations co-chair. During her tenure on the board, Pam has run several fundraising campaigns and personally raised over $10,000.
According to Executive Director, Deborah Sapin-Feldstein of Aldersgate, "Pam's enthusiasm and drive are infectious". She recently found a gently-used crib for a newly placed infant in the foster care program, responding to the request in a matter of minutes. In addition, Pam organized donations to help purchase a second crib. Her "can-do" attitude and incredible willingness to take on new projects demonstrate her unwavering dedication, fierce commitment and personal generosity.
