Foster Parents Adopt 6 Children
Foster Parents adopt 6 children after agreeing to only foster children.
When one of our foster care couples sat down and decided to become foster parents they expressed their interest in only fostering children; absolutely “no adoptions”! Six adoptions later they state that they could not be happier. Their most recent adoptions included four children who all had a choice in whether or not they were dopted. These children stated that they could not imagine living in another home. They all view each other as brothers and sisters and their foster parents as mom and dad. All of the children came into foster care between the ages of four and seven and were able to verbalize that they understood that their biological parent(s) loved them but they could not care for them.
